The Shelter Home is a state licensed, private, non-profit organization providing emergency shelter in a clean, safe, secure and morally responsible homelike environment, for up to 28 Horry County abused, abandoned, or neglected children, (12 boys and 16 girls), aged birth to 17 years old, placed into foster care by the Department of Social Services. |
