LEADERSHIP GRAND STRAND CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT AT BELLE TERRE GOLF COURSE HELD


Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Under the threat of inclement weather the Leadership Grand Strand Charity Golf Tournament held at Belle Terre Golf Course was a huge success. Fifteen teams braved the elements Saturday afternoon to raise over $6K for the Horry County Shelter Home. The proceeds will be used to construct an administrative and education building.

The tournament was played on the Par 72 Championship course at Belle Terre.

2nd Place team, Golf Dimensions – 8 under

3rd Place, Team Bova – 8 under
Richard Bova, Ed Mandrik, Wes Waller, Jonathan Miles
The winner of the Putting Contest was Mickey McCamish with 17 strokes, Cindy Tomilonus was the winner for the Longest Drive contest, and Shea Clayton won the Closest to the Pin contest at 21 ft. 1 in.

Leadership Grand Strand is a nine-month program offered annually by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce aimed at equipping local individuals with the tools to become citizen leaders.
